Virgil Abloh was born in Rockford, Illinois in 1980. He grew up with a passion for music, design, and street culture. He went on to study Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then later received a Master's degree in Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

  In the early 2000s, Abloh became a DJ, and began working with Kanye West as his creative director. He was instrumental in shaping the visual aesthetic of West's music and fashion, and eventually, Abloh went on to become the artistic director of the rapper's record label, GOOD Music. He also worked as the creative director of Pyrex Vision, a streetwear brand that was popularized by his close association with West.

  Abloh's unique approach to fashion design has made him a trailblazer in the industry.
