About Us
CATEAR (pronounced ca-tier) is a luxury streetwear brand born in Georgia, rooted in Southern culture and designed for the future. We stand at the intersection of heritage and high fashion, blending the raw spirit of the South with refined craftsmanship and contemporary silhouettes.
Our ethos is simple yet profound: luxury is legacy. Every garment is created with intention—from fabric choice to finishing details—designed not only to be worn, but to be remembered. At CATEAR, fashion is storytelling. Each piece carries echoes of red clay roads, front porch conversations, Sunday sermons, and the rhythm of jazz, blues, and hip-hop.
We believe style is service. Guided by the principle that “It’s better to serve than be served,” we craft with purpose and use our platform to uplift communities, collaborate with Southern and Black creatives, and support initiatives that extend beyond fashion. At CATEAR, community is at the core of everything we create. That’s why we dedicate 10% of every sale to local charities and outreach ministries. It’s our way of making sure the culture that shapes us is the same culture we pour back into—fashion as service, legacy as impact.
CATEAR is led by Enid Rogers-Taylor, an alumna of The Art Institute of Atlanta with a B.A. in Fashion and Retail Management, and Calvin Taylor, an artist, illustrator, and graduate of the Streetwear Essentials Program at Parsons School of Design in New York. Together, they fuse design, narrative, and cultural authenticity to shape a brand that doesn’t follow trends—it redefines them.
CATEAR isn’t just clothing. It’s a legacy in the making.
